A Make Up Must Have.

MAC STUDIO FIX POWDER

Well what can I say about this beautiful product other than AMAZING! I have been using this product now for a good two years and it works wonders. There's never a day when I don't wear it and I always take it everywhere I go. The good thing about MAC is that the products come in so many colours that you get a perfect skin match! It covers up blemishes and helps cover any shine you may have on your face giving you that matte look, it also really helps at keeping your foundation on. What more could you want aye?
At £19 it's a little bit pricey, but as I have experienced it lasts for ages!

MAC STUDIO FIX FOUNDATION

Yet again another brilliant product, I have again been using this product for a good two years, and having used this foundation I could never change! The coverage it gives you is fantastic and it hides absolutely everything! This product also gives you a lovely flawless matte finish, as it's oil-free and stays on really well there's no need to worry if you are out and about. It also includes SPF 15 for everyday skin protection. It comes in many colours to match every persons skin tone, but with the people in the MAC shops always being very helpful anyway they help you find your perfect match! The brushes they offer are brilliant too, I've had mine for two years, and still they look as good as new!
This product is also priced at £19 and lasts ages, so I insist you get buying people :)

Big Love For London :)

On the 26th, it was indeed my 19th birthday, and as part of my birthday present my mum brought the both of us tickets to see Dirty Dancing in London. Like any normal girls we took this as an excuse to have a lovely day out and hit the shops, looking around the shops in Covent Garden and of course Oxford Street! We also had a lovely lunch in Zizzi's an Italian Restaurant in Covent Garden (my favourite place to dine every time I go to London), three courses and a bottle of wine later it was time to get back on the tube and go to the Aldwych Theatre, the show was brilliant and we had fantastic seats!

So, yes I am already organising my next trip to London, and I am already looking forward to it! We are planning to go and see Priscilla Queen of the Desert, which I must say is an amazing show, i recommend it to anyone looking for a fun-loving, singalong, to definitely go and see it very soon! Of course included in our day we are planning to go shopping and have lunch and cocktails. But that goes without saying really, doesn't it?

THE INBETWEENERS

As many of you will probably know, the new series of the Inbetweeners starts on the 13th on E4, and I am overly excited! I absolutely LOVE the show, and no matter how many times I watch it I still laugh out loud every time! The humour is right up my street, and the characters are brilliantly played. I have been waiting for the new series for a very long time and cannot wait to see what hilarious things Will, Simon, Jay and Neil get up to this time round!

Excited is definitely an understatement!

V Fest 2010 :)

For the second year running I attended V Festival at Hylands Park Chelmsford, (oh I do love a good festival).  Well I have to say I had a awesome time! Even though I can safely say that camping isn't my most favourite thing to do in the world, but for an all round experience it is definitely worth it. Friday 20th August, my friend and I busted on down to Hylands (with bags literally bigger than us!!!!) to see some of our favourite bands over the two days. Now let me say, the walk from the drop off point to the campsite is one HELL of a hike, (as i was also pulling a crate along with my strongbow on!) and it was such a relief when I finally took the bag off, even though my shoulders ached (nothing a strongbow can't help). After setting our tent up, it's all about taking a walk down to the dance tent, where they play music and show late night movies.

The next day the excitement begins for the music to start, and I have to say there were many amazing acts over the two days. My favourite had to be Scouting for Girls (I have decided I am going to marry the lead singer) they looked like they were genuinely happy to be there, and seemed overwhelmed that they had so many fans! Example were also amazing, the crowd were going mental when they sung 'kickstarts' definitely one of the best moments of the weekend! I also loved Calvin Harris, and to be honest I have always had a little crush on him (okay, a BIG crush!!!) but he was so much fun, and got the crowd going, but I was not impressed with the amount of beer I got thrown all over me (some of it definitely being wee, yuk!)

Here's a few picture's of my weekend. Enjoy!

My beautiful Hunters, a  festival must-have!
at £50, a little bit pricey, but yet SO worth it :)

Me and my HUGE bag!

Me & my friend in our tent :)
Gotta love a pair of geek glasses!
First day I wore my fave Oasis t-shirt,
teamed together with a pair of denim shorts
from Topshop, a cute headband from Primark,
over the knee socks, and my Hunter wellies!

Me and my friend waiting for scouting for girls :)
Second day I wore a off the shoulder rock chick t-shirt from
Topshop, a pair of denim shorts from Topshop, sunnies from
River Island, and a flower in my hair from New Look :)

Last day I wore a Rolling Stones t-shirt, denim shorts,
and flip flops :)
as you can see my hair is plaited back (it was very greasy
by this point.)

My Make Up Must Have.

My Make Up must have is Maxfactors Falsh Lash Effect Mascara. I personally love this mascara because you can create an everyday look as well as a night out look. You will never find a different mascara in my make up bag! It normally costs around £10.99, but for a short time only Superdrug have issued a limited pink bottle version for £7.99. Bargain!

The City That Never Sleeps!

In December I am off to the wonderful city that is New York for the second time, and yes you could say that I am a tad excited! I am going with University and I believe it is going to be an amazing trip. I last went in the Summer of 2008, with my brother, dad, and ex-boyfriend (yes, all boys!) and although I had a great time, I am looking forward to going with my girl mates this time around.

Statue of Liberty.

My friend and I already have many things planned, and are going to make it the three best days of our life! We are planning to go and see Legally Blonde on Broadway, visit the Empire State Building, Ice Skate in Central Park, and many other exciting things! We also intend on shopping untill we literally drop (I have my eyes on a beautiful handbag already).

I Have A Slight Addiction To Topshop.

My most recent purchase from Topshop is this beautiful cardigan, I infact bought it in a beige colour but I instantly fell in love with it, and seeing as there were only four of the beige colour left I had to buy it there and then. It was £48 (£43.20 with student discount!) quite pricey but I believe it is a great buy with winter approaching fast. It is very warm and cosy, perfect for those cold winter days. Team up with a pair of boots and you're ready to go. But hurry, as no doubt, this beauty will be sold out very soon!

Summer 2010.

Well, summer is coming to a close and to be very honest it has definately been one to remember! It only seems like yesterday that I was boarding the plane to jet off the sunny Florida, for two weeks of jam-packed fun. But back to reality that was over two months ago, ridiculous how fast time flies!

Now I find myself preparing to go back to Southampton where I am currently at University. But before I get too excited about going back and seeing all my wonderful friends, I have one more party which I have been looking forward to for a VERY long time! On September 12th I will be jetting off to Ibiza to party hard for 5 days, so be prepared to be bombarded with pictures on my return. But before that I will share with you some of my much loved memories of the Summer.
